Goldwork Introduction
A structured full-day introduction to surface metal threads with a safety briefing and a small practice piece.
Metal threads are beautiful and unforgiving. They do not travel through fabric the way stranded cotton does, and cut ends deserve respect.
We keep the seat count low. The day includes felt padding, simple couching and notes you can return to at home.
Prior hand embroidery experience is recommended. Email a photo of recent work if you are unsure — we will advise honestly.
What is included
Practice ground, felt for padding, a controlled selection of metal threads, and specialist needles for the day.
