Sashiko Running Stitch
Focus on rhythm and spacing. Complete a geometric running-stitch panel suitable for soft furnishings or display.
We start with a simple grid before decorative patterns. Once spacing feels automatic, geometry becomes enjoyable rather than stressful.
You will practise loading several stitches on the needle, keeping the wrist relaxed, and checking intervals every few centimetres.
Bring reading glasses if you use them at home — dark indigo cloth can be harder to see under evening light.
What is included
Indigo-toned cloth, marking tools, sashiko-compatible needle and thread for the class panel.
